Io Selva delle Mura Montepulciano d Abruzzo 75 cl Nic Tartaglia

The top of the range of our wines. The iO line represents our vision on how to best interpret wines derived from native grapes; Selva delle Mura, the current name of the wine, is instead the ancient name of a company land where gigantic boulders emerge directly from the ground, completely covered by vegetation and surrounded by trees and shrubs.
Pure Montepulciano grapes, vinified in steel with the skins, once fermentation is finished,
the wine ages for 15 months in used French barriques (fourth passage), and then returns to steel until bottling;
once in the bottle it is refined for at least a year before being placed on the market.
Smell of chocolate, licorice, balsamic and toasted notes, supported by an important body made more malleable by a nice acid shoulder and a long persistence.
Ideal pairing for red meats, game, mature cheeses and cured meats.
Contains sulphites.
