Nerosubianco was born on the volcano from the encounter between Nerello Mascalese vinified in white and Carricante,
capable of combining strength and elegance in an eruption of taste.
The red soul meets the white soul of the volcano,
giving a story to be told.
SOIL
Fertile and sandy soils of lava origin located in the highest areas of the slope north of Etna,
between Castiglione and Randazzo, where the temperature variations between day and night are considerable.

Vinification: short cold maceration of the Carricante, while the Nerello Mascalese follows the white vinification technique.
The fermentation of the two vines is carried out separately and at low temperatures.
Refinement: after the first racking, 4 months in stainless steel tanks in contact with the fine fermentation lees.
A part of Carricante ages in large 30 hl acacia barrels for a couple of months. Following the creation of the blend of the two vines,
Nerosubianco is bottled within the month of April.
Nerosubianco has a straw yellow color in which it is possible to notice elegant greenish reflections.
The aromas of vanilla, sage and nutmeg immediately arrive on the nose which combine with a delicate hint of white flowers.
It is a fresh wine with a good body that brings within it the typical minerality and sapidity of the vines produced in these areas of the volcano.
