The name of the wine: The vineyard, located in the Paradeis plot, is located - as the name suggests - near a gorge ("forra") which Rio Favogna has dug into the dolomitic limestone rock over millions of years.
The wine therefore takes its name from this geographical peculiarity. The fresh winds that creep into the gorge, blowing towards the Adige valley, affect the microclimate and the characteristics of the wine.
