Dore Wine from Stretch Grapes 37.5 cl Les Cretes
Vine variety: white, 100% aromatic white grape variety.
Soil (type, exposure, altitude): morainic, loose, sandy slope with north-west and south exposures. Altitude from 600 to 950 meters above sea level.
First year of production: 2000.
Annual bottles produced: 4,000 bottles (0.375 litres).
Area, cultivation method, planting density, yield: Approximately 0.5 ha, Guyot and Gobelet system; planting of 8,000/10,000 feet per hectare, rows in edging and retouching and free-form. Yield 2,500 kg/ha.
Winemaking: Drying of the grapes on the vine, late harvest, soft whole bunch pressing, fermentation for 25 days at a controlled temperature (13 °C). Aging “sur lies” for 6 months. Bottle refinement for 6 months.
Sensory notes: golden yellow. On the nose hints of eggnog, custard, honey, aromatic berries, caramel and dried apricots. On the palate, soft, fresh and tasty with a long fruity finish.
Contains sulphites.
