Chardonnay Piodilei Langhe DOC 75 cl Pio Cesare

VARIETY: CHARDONNAY 
VINEYARDS: From the vineyards owned by our family at Cascina Il Bricco in Treiso, in the Barbaresco area, and at Colombaro in Serralunga d'Alba in the Barolo area, which from the 2019 harvest will be replaced with Vigna Mosconi, in Monforte d'Alba, still in the Barolo area. Since 1985 it has represented our family's desire to produce a white wine with body, complexity and longevity like the great red wines of our terroirs.
VINIFICATION AND AGING: The Chardonnay is collected in boxes, gently pressed and briefly cold decanted.
It ferments and stays for 10 months on the yeasts in only 1/3 new wooden barriques. It then stays in the bottle.
NOTES: Spicy, creamy, intense, persistent, mature, still fresh, unobtrusive wood. Long-lived.
Produced in small quantities each year.
Contains sulphites.
