The fake sauce was born from the reinterpretation of the traditional pork sauce, typical of the Sicilian territory. The farmers, at the time, not having the economic possibility to celebrate the holidays by bringing pork sauce to the table, brought back the flavors and aromas in a completely vegetarian and economical recipe.
