Rosy Langhe DOC 75 cl Pio Cesare

VARIETY: Nebbiolo and a small part of Syrah.
VINEYARDS: We have always had a strong passion for great Rosés with body, structure and longevity. We therefore decided to try our hand at producing a Langhe Rosè with Nebbiolo and Syrah grapes from our property in Treiso, in the Barbaresco area.
VINIFICATION: The grapes are harvested quite early and in small boxes, after a rigorous selection in the vineyard.
After a soft pressing, the fermentation begins in steel and ends in French wooden barriques, not new.
Maceration on the skins for a very short period of time.
AGEING: On the yeasts in barriques for about a month.
NOTE:  We called it "Rosy" to dedicate it to the Founder's granddaughter, our grandmother Rosy. Savory, fresh, spicy, full-bodied, amber in colour. Produced in small quantities.
Contains sulphites.
