IN A GLASS OF WINE
Petralava Etna DOC Rosato comes from the native vines of the area, a direct expression of the nature of the Volcano.
Nerello Mascalese is enriched by the qualities of Nerello Cappuccio to give life to a wine with elegant fruity aromas,
a strong flavor and a pale pink color with delicate ruby ​​nuances.
Like Etna red, even the rosé comes from the municipalities of Castiglione di Sicilia, Randazzo,
Linguaglossa and Piedimonte, increasing the excellent productions of the Etna DOC area with its versatility and fragrance.
SOIL
Sandy soils of lava origin, located on the northern slope of Etna, at an altitude of 600-800 m above sea level,
subject to strong temperature variations between day and night.
TRAINING SYSTEM
Traditional sapling and counter-espalier training.
Harvest
Manual harvesting of the grapes in the first ten days of October.

Vinification: a short cold maceration of the grapes anticipates their passage to the phase of soft pressing and fermentation at controlled temperature.
