Dry, warm taste with lively tannins, at the same time soft and elegant.
Aroma of ripe fruits, spices, liquorice and excellent persistence. The good total acidity, personality and tannin, combined with its polyphenolic and alcohol content of 13.5%, make it long-lived and with surprising evolution over time.
Red meats, mature cheeses, soups with legumes, mushrooms from Murge, oriental cuisine, Neapolitan taralli, find a magnificent partner in the “Il Melograno” wine. Drink at approximately 16 degrees after ten minutes of oxygenation in glass.
