Organoleptic description:
The wine is bright and red in color ruby. Intense and complex on the nose, it offers aromas of plums, sour cherries and black cherries, with a captivating complement of spices and liquorice. In the mouth it immediately reveals its great freshness which is accompanied by extremely fine tannins. The persistence is long, with returns of cherry and black plum. The contribution of the barrique is barely perceptible as it elegantly and discreetly complements the natural aromas of the wine.

Pairing:
Particularly appropriate with game and mature cheeses. It also goes very well with dishes in sauce. In Irpinia, its land of origin, it is often drunk with grilled meats and porcini mushrooms, as well as with local cured meats such as soppressata or capocollo.
Taurasi is the ideal wine to accompany dishes with strong flavours.
