Production area: the grapes come exclusively from owned vineyards located in Castellania (altitude 400 m) in an area called Sant'Andrea.

Grapes: 90% Barbera, 10% Croatina.
Harvest: paying particular attention to achieving optimal ripeness, the grapes are selected and harvested by hand in 18-20 kg boxes.

Winemaking techniques: after crushing-destemming, fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature (25-27°C) and maceration is carried out for approximately 10 days with pumping over and punching down; after racking and a first decanting, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation.

Refinement: the wine matures for approximately 10 months in steel and is further refined in the bottle for a minimum period of 8 months.

Organoleptic characteristics:

View: intense and lively ruby red.
Smell: beautiful intensity, with notes of cherry and wild strawberry.
Taste: full , savory, fresh.
Advice for optimal tasting: at a temperature of 18°C.

Gastronomic pairings: white and red meats, elaborate fish-based preparations, fresh cheeses, ideal with agnolotti and raw salami.
