Type: red with medium structure.

Grapes: Sangiovese and Colorino harvested in the second half of September.
Colour: deep ruby ​​red with light purple reflections.
Aroma: delicate and of good intensity, elegant complexity with hints of pepper, cinnamon and tobacco; background of red jam and violet.
Taste: solid structure and excellent concentration, evolves with fresh acidity; austere and well-balanced tannins with a fruity and slightly mineral finish.
Alcohol: 13.50% Vol.
Consumption: serve at 16°-18°C.

Pairing: Florentine steak, barbecue with spicy sauce, sliced ​​beef, roast beef with baked potatoes, stewed eel, aubergine caponata, spit-roasted chicken, slightly aged cheeses (pecorino, parmesan), traditional Bolognese lasagna, strangozzi with red onion and bacon, Köttbullar with cheese sauce lingonberries, boiled.
