Rubesco Rosso di Torgiano DOC 75 cl Lungarotti
Type: red with medium structure.
Grapes: Sangiovese and Colorino harvested in the second half of September.
Colour: deep ruby red with light purple reflections.
Aroma: delicate and of good intensity, elegant complexity with hints of pepper, cinnamon and tobacco; background of red jam and violet.
Taste: solid structure and excellent concentration, evolves with fresh acidity; austere and well-balanced tannins with a fruity and slightly mineral finish.
Alcohol: 13.50% Vol.
Consumption: serve at 16°-18°C.
Pairing: Florentine steak, barbecue with spicy sauce, sliced beef, roast beef with baked potatoes, stewed eel, aubergine caponata, spit-roasted chicken, slightly aged cheeses (pecorino, parmesan), traditional Bolognese lasagna, strangozzi with red onion and bacon, Köttbullar with cheese sauce lingonberries, boiled. Due to its moderate body it is also excellent in the preparation of sauces.
