DESCRIPTION
Complex wine characterized by great varietal expression. On the nose, hints of blackberry and raspberry meet notes of coffee and tobacco. In the mouth the structure is broad, harmonious and well balanced by the typical acidity of the vintage.
Finish with excellent persistence.

TECHNICAL NOTES
Soil: hilly vineyard area of the company, with low to moderate slopes.
The soils develop on different types of sediments, from the clayey sands of the marine Pliocene, deep soils with abundant stones and limestones, to blue-grey clays. Soils, the latter, moderately deep, mineral which tend to retain humidity.
Training system: spurred cordon - Banfi sapling
Planting density: 4200 - 5500 cp/ha.
Yield per hectare: 70-75 q/ha.
Fermentation: at a controlled temperature (20-30°) in steel vats
Aging: in 60 and 90 hl French oak barrels and in French oak barriques of 350 l. for 12 months
Alcohol: 15.5%
Suggested serving temperature: 16-18°C.
Contains sulphites.
