Territory On the slopes of the Madonie at an altitude of 700-900 meters above sea level. Perricone. Sapling / espalier training system. Average age of the vines 20/30 years. Guyot and spur type of pruning. Grapes yield 70/90 quintals per hectare Soil type sandy, clayey, medium textured, with alkaline reaction due to the presence of active limestone. Harvest period mid-October. Red vinification technique. Traditional red fermentation with pumping over during the tumultuous fermentation. Completely malolactic fermentation. Aging in stainless steel tanks for three months, in small French oak barrels for 10 months and in bottle for another six months before being released. Type DOC Sicily. Alcohol content 13.0% vol.
