Nanticchia Etna DOC 75 cl Pietro Caciorgna

Nanticchia was the first wine produced on Etna and is the result of selecting the best grapes from the three property vineyards. The name is a very beautiful word, which means "a little", widely used in common Sicilian speech.

It is clear, like water from a magical spring, and is rich in mineral notes thanks to the centuries-old lava streams from which it comes. It has light fruity notes of strawberry and raspberry.
It reveals velvety tannins, is elegant, complex and has a persistent aftertaste.
It appears refined, extremely delicate, full of character and sophisticated.
It reaches its best expression between 5 and 15 years of ageing.

Pairings
N*Anticchia goes well with many different dishes. Pairings with traditional Sicilian rustic dishes are recommended, but it is also suitable for more refined foods (lamb, vegetables, truffles, less delicate fish dishes, porcini mushrooms, white meats and red meats cooked "lightly", toasted hazelnuts and cheeses hard cheeses such as comté, gruyere, pecorino and good parmesan).
