Intense red color with purple reflections. On the nose evident floral and fruity hints attributable to morello cherry. It ends with spices and aromatic vegetables such as nettle and fig leaf. In the mouth it is soft, elegant and velvety with exceptional persistence.
Maria Costanza Rosso is the most intense expression of our way of interpreting the Sicilian grape par excellence, NERO D'AVOLA.

SOIL TYPE: Giuseppina and Milici, plateau of marly origin with a high clay component, highly calcareous, rich in skeleton - Munti, organic and rather deep clayey soil
TRAINING SYSTEM: Guyot and spurred cordon
HARVEST TIME: Mid-October
HARVEST METHOD: Selection of the bunches on the plant and manual harvesting in 14 kg boxes
VINIFICATION: The grapes are delicately deseeded and after a further manual selection they are transferred to horizontal and vertical vinificators where, after a maceration of 15 days the alcoholic fermentation completes. The malolactic fermentation is carried out partly in oak barriques and partly in steel. MATURATION: About 18 months, partly in barriques, partly in steel. Final refinement in the bottle
