Lindin Colli Tortonesi DOC 75 cl Vigne Marina Coppi
Production area: the grapes come exclusively from the proprietary vineyard called "Vedra" in Castellania (altitude 400 m), in calcareous-clayey soil rich in Sant'Agata marl. The noblest of Piedmontese vines finds in this place a favorable environment to express all its qualities precisely due to its affinities with the Langhe hills.
Grapes: Pure Nebbiolo.
Harvest: paying particular attention to achieving optimal ripeness, the grapes are selected and harvested by hand in 18-20 kg boxes.
Winemaking techniques: after crushing-destemming, fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature and maceration is carried out for approximately 20 days with delicate manual pumping over and punching down. After racking and a first decanting, the wine passes into French oak tonneaux where malolactic fermentation takes place.
Refinement: the wine matures in tonneaux for a period of 18 months, and is then further refined in the bottle for a minimum period of 6 months.
Organoleptic characteristics:
View: ruby red of great intensity.
Smell: fine and intense; the wine highlights notes of violets, red fruits, sweet spices and an intense aroma of cocoa.
Taste: delicate, harmonious, with a progressively evolving sweet tannin.
Advice for optimal tasting: at the temperature of 18°C in large crystal glasses.
Food pairings: red and white meats, mushrooms, stuffed pasta and other classic first courses of Piedmontese cuisine, mature cheeses.
Contains sulphites.
