VINEYARDS: Our vineyards are located on the steep slopes of the Sambuca di Sicilia area , where they overlook Lake Arancio and find the best soil conditions to create a wonderful expression of a high quality grape rich in fruitiness and aromatic structure.
VINIFICATION: As soon as they reach ripeness the canes are cut and the grapes left to dry naturally in the warm Sicilian sun. Once they have lost around 30% of their weight, the grapes face a long maceration on the skins. The wine is then aged for six months in barriques.
SENSORY CHARACTERISTICS: Ruby red in colour, bright, full and intense. On the nose it expresses intense sensations of red fruit, spices and red flowers.
PAIRINGS: Legumes, mushrooms and tasty meats. It pairs perfectly with grilled ribs and gourmet burgers;
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18°C;
