VARIETY: Nebbiolo and a small part of Pinot Noir.
VINEYARDS: Nebbio is our version of Nebbiolo which expresses the characteristics of fragrance, youth and freshness of such a noble grape. From our vineyards in Serralunga d'Alba in the Barolo area, in Treiso in the Barbaresco area, in Diano D'Alba and in Trezzo Tinella. Rather early harvest.
VINIFICATION: After a short maceration, the grapes ferment in steel.
REFINEMENT: In steel until bottling in early March. It doesn't "touch" wood.
NOTE: Aromas of currants, pulpy, almost sweet fruit, discreet tannins, roundness, fragrance, freshness but also compactness and seriousness. It can last over time, enhancing the austerity of Nebbiolo. Serve fresh from the cellar.
