Love for our land, respect for the environment and its balance appoints us the "guardians" of its precious fruits. From a particular selection of our Ceppineri vineyard, we obtain an elegant and balanced wine, symbol of the Marsala wine production.

Climate: Temperate, warm Mediterranean
Soil: Medium texture, basically clayey
Yield of grapes/ha: 60 quintals /ha (thinning of bunches during veraison)
Plant system: Counter-espalier, with guyot pruning
Age of the vineyards: 40 years
Plant density: 4400 plants/ha
Harvest: End of August first ten days of September (3 harvests)
Vine variety: 100% Nero d'Avola
Vinification: The harvest takes place manually in small crates. After destemming, the bunches are selected on a sorting table and sent off for traditional red vinification. The grapes are left to macerate at a controlled temperature for 15-20 days, carrying out continuous pumping over to extract the varietal essences. At the end of the racking and very soft pressing, malolactic fermentation takes place
Refinement: The wine is aged in French oak/cherry barrels for about 24 months of different calibers. The bottling takes place without filtration and the wine ages for a further 3 months before being marketed

Colour: Ruby red, lively with purple reflections
Flavour: Strong hints of black currant, black cherry and violet
Taste: Soft, harmonious, elegant with a surprising note of acidity
