VINEYARDS: Starting from 2017 exclusively from a selection of Barbera grapes coming from the oldest vines of the Mosconi Vineyard, the latest acquisition of our family in Monforte d'Alba, in the area of Barolo. “Fides” represents our “act of faith” towards the Barbera vine, which has always been planted in highly prestigious areas. Since 2017, the label has been enriched with the mention "Vigna Mosconi" and the denomination "Barbera d'Alba Superiore".
VINIFICATION: In steel. Maceration on the skins for approximately 30 days.
AGEING: Immediately after racking, it remains in French oak barrels for approximately 12 months and a small part in barriques.
NOTE: Very low yields and a strict selection of the grapes. Produced in very small quantities. Full-bodied, balanced and rich. Spicy with hints of ripe fruit. Very long-lived.
Contains sulphites.
