Catullo Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC 75 cl Bertani
Medium-bodied wine with gentle spicy notes of vanilla and chocolate, accompanied by typical notes of cherry, black cherry and white pepper. On the palate it is characterized by an easy drinkability, typical of Valpolicella, and, at the same time, by a silky tannic structure and an intense and prolonged aromatic persistence. The finish is fresh, soft and tasty. Wine with a classic, elegant, balanced, harmonious style.

Vines: 70% Corvina Veronese, 20% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella
Production area : Valpolicella Classica, Tenuta Novare in Arbizzano di Negrar Marl-limestone soils, with clayey deposits

Average age of the vines: 20 years
Production method: This wine is obtained from the second fermentation, called ripasso. In the month of March, the fresh and young vintage Valpolicella is fermented on the still slightly sweet skins of the Amarone Classico.
Maturation of the wine: In 75 hectoliter French oak barrels for 12 months, plus a further year in 100 hectoliter cement tanks.
Ageing in the bottle: At least 6 months
Analytical data: Alcohol 14%.
Contains sulphites.
