BOUQUET: Rhubarb, hints of violets and well-ripe red undergrowth fruits. Broad, welcoming spirit of spices, black pepper and toasted dried fruit.
FLAVOUR: Tannins well present, vertical and sinuous. Excellent in harmony, thickness and pleasant chewiness sensation. Full length, persistence and silkiness. Excellent structure and freshness which defines the particular character of the wines of this Lake of Annunziano.
GASTRONOMIC ARRANGEMENTS Ideal with cured meats and semi-mature cheeses. Stuffed and fresh pasta with ragù, carpaccio, salted meat and tartare. Beef in oil and furred game, mixed boiled meat with matching sauces.
