Avulisi Riserva DOC 75 cl Santa Tresa

“AVULISI” IN SICILIAN DIALECT MEANS “INHABITANT OF AVOLA”.
Grapes: Avulisi is produced mostly with Nero d'Avola grapes coming from the oldest vineyard on the estate, dating back to 1964.
Harvest: Avulisi comes from a single vineyard with meticulous and careful cultivation, with very low yields (no more than 30 hectoliters per hectare) so as to guarantee bunches full of flavors and aromas. To make the most of the grapes harvested from our ancient vineyard, we have chosen to use "integral vinification", which takes place directly in barriques: a technique that allows us to obtain rounder wines, with greater volume, greater fatness and complexity, a 'accentuated aromatic precision, a better integrated boisé with silky finishes.
