Produced with Negroamaro (90%) and Primitivo (10%) grapes, harvested manually in mid-September
Alcoholic fermentation at temperatures not exceeding 25°C, subsequent refinement for 12 months.
Alcohol content 15% vol.
Compact ruby red colour. On the nose notes of vanilla and cinnamon, dark chocolate and humus.
Hints of ripe cherry and blackcurrant compote intertwine with notes of liquorice in perfect balance.
On the palate it is warm and soft, with fine and rounded tannins.
Good persistence
Chickpea soup, duck breast lacquered with honey and spices, braised wild boar with apples, beef morsels with thyme.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C.
