Bronte DOP Green Shelled Pistachio 100 gr Bacco

The excellence of the excellence of our production: only the pistachio coming from the lands that have obtained the DOP certification ends up in the glass jar  100g of shelled pistachio and pistachio flour.
That is, as stated in article 2 of the Production Specifications for Green Pistachio of Bronte, “the PROTECTED DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN “Green Pistachio of Bronte” is reserved for the product, in shell, shelled or peeled, of plants of the botanical species "Pistacia vera", cultivar "Napoletana", also called "Bianca" or "Nostrale", grafted onto "Pistacia terebinthus".
A percentage of no more than 5% of plants of other varieties and/or rootstocks other than P. terebinthus is permitted.
This percentage refers to all the plants present in the systems.
In any case, the product deriving from plants of other varieties, not belonging to the “Napoletana” cultivar, will be excluded from certification”.
