Pesto di Sinapu 190 gr Conserve Conti

The “Sinapu” Pesto Conserve Conti is one of these, the main ingredient is “sinapu”, so called in dialect in many areas of Sicily. The scientific name is "Hirschfeldia incana" and the Italian commercial name is Canuta mustard. With an intense and slightly bitter taste, in Sicily it is customary to eat this vegetable simply boiled and accompanied by grilled sausages ("sasizza cco sinapu"), but they are also used after cooking as a condiment for pasta. “Sinapu” Pesto in extra virgin olive oil is a condiment for pasta, both long and short pasta shapes are fine. We also recommend using pesto as a side dish to meat-based second courses.
Ingredients: spontaneous vegetables from the Etna area: Canuta mustard “Hirchfeldia Incana” 60%, extra virgin olive oil, salt, corrector of acidity: lactic acid.
