Black mulberries are from Sicily and ours are no exception, loaded as they are with the sun of the plain of Catania. Myrtle, as well as sunshine, is full of history because it is harvested in the immediate vicinity of the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento. In an elegant game in which the consistency of the mulberry gives materiality to its warm aromas, it then amazes for its freshness in the mouth. Powerful, tastier than sweet, it lends itself to demanding combinations, such as long-aged or blue cheeses. Red meats don't scare her, on the contrary with game she manages to express a gustatory gentleness from which every component of the dish benefits. With these premises, breakfast is an all too simple task for a product with enormous potential.
