The Mediterranean tuna or more commonly tuna (scientific name Euthynnus Alletteratus)
is a marine fish belonging to the Scombridae family.
It is strictly fished in the Mediterranean Sea between April and September and its dimensions do not exceed 1 m in length and weigh no more than 15 kg.
It has meat very similar to that of red tuna, soft and tasty, and the organoleptic qualities are the same.
Excellent for preparing tasty first courses or delicious seafood appetizers.
Shelf life: 5 years from the production date.
Keep in a cool, dry place.
After opening, store in the fridge at +2/4° C and consume within 3 days.
