Pitted Dried Plums 250 gr Banfi

The company's second tree crop, by extension, is the plum. 100 hectares, located mainly along the Orcia and Ombrone rivers, are those intended for the production of Agen variety plums, of which Banfi is the largest Italian producer. The drying and grading take place at the company's fruit centre, while the product is subsequently sent to Modena, to a cooperative packaging centre.
Thanks to the favorable climatic conditions that accompany the fruit ripening phase, the cultivated plums in Banfi they are very rich in polyphenols and with a hydroxycinnamic acid content approximately three times higher than that found in the average fruit of other Italian origins. From these juicy fruits come the pitted dried plums and the tasty dried plum extra jam.
