The Pietro Carciogna farm is located in the municipality of Casole d'Elsa in Tuscany but the history of these wines dell'Etna was born in Sicily when in 2006 Pietro Carciogna decided to visit Sicily and the estate of a friend of his and subsequently to purchase vineyards in Castiglione di Sicilia in order to cultivate Nerello Mascalese.
The philosophy of the Caciorgna family is to produce quality while respecting the environment and the health of the consumer.
The first wine was Nanticchia which in Sicilian means "a little bit" and then subsequently Ciauria and Guardoilvento were added, wines with silky and velvety tannins that express themselves with great aromatic finesse, good body, complexity and drinkability.
