The Pieropan winery of the historic family of the same name is located in Veneto in the municipality of Soave. The winemaking activity began at the beginning of the 1900s.
In the 1970s, the Pieropan company created two symbolic wines of Italian enology: the "Vigneto Calvarino" in 1971, first Italian white Cru and the "Vigneto La Rocca" in 1978.
These wines are the expressions of a territory: of volcanic origin in Calvarino, limestone of marine origin in Rocca. The Pieropan company manages its land with a minimal impact of chemical products,
chemical weeding was eliminated in 2002 and all production was converted to organic in 2008.
In 2015 the company built a new and innovative cellar, located in the heart of the Soave vineyards. The futuristic structure is very large and fits perfectly into the environment, being of the underground type and completely buried under the hill, with the exception of the front.
