Pistachio Nougat Bacco
Recognition of the importance of the preparation of nougat in the traditional Sicilian food and wine culture,
which saw the "torronari" permanent presences at every religious and village festival preparing their
specialty in enormous pots constantly enlivened by fire, with pistachios and almonds, honey and sugar inside.
The nougat was then spread by hand on the marble and cut with knives.
